Carols By Candlelight

Sunday, December 13, 2026, 4:00 p.m.

The highly regarded Sanctuary Choir of Market Square Church joins with orchestra to welcome the Christmas season with festive carols and audience candle lighting, a Harrisburg tradition. This year’s program will feature Part 1 of Handel’s oratorio, Messiah, during the first half. The second half will feature a family-friendly Christmas spectacular featuring dancers from The Studio.

During the first half of the concert, children in grades K–5 are invited to Kids’ Corner. Enjoy Christmas crafts, cookie decorating, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and festive games! Then, they’ll join their families in the sanctuary for a front-row seat to the second half of the concert. Led by Rev. Allison Smith. Contact Rev.
